I was sent messages telling me to book for certain treatments but when I rang there was no appointments available and they had no idea when they would have any more ! Eventually after consistently ringing and calling in at the surgery I got appointments but they're were weeks or sometimes months away. What makes it more frustrating is that the surgery is often empty when you do go whereas in the past this was never the case!

The nurse was professional and explained everything

Everything was fine from booking appointments to diagnostics and results.

Overall, the usual good service and clear guidance and advice. Unfortunately the doctor I saw (Dr. [name removed]) was not the one who initiated the appointment ( Dr. [name removed]) so the purpose of the session was not immediately obvious. Additionally it wasn’t clear which issues were to addressed by specialists at LRI, Preston or GP/pharmacy.

Ideally, it should be agreed and confirmed what the specific purpose or reason is for the appointment so both the doctor and patient are prepared.
